Cebu Normal University (CNU) was established in 1902 as the Cebu Normal School and is considered as one of the oldest educational institutions of Cebu.
1902 - Cebu Normal School
1924 - became an independent institution
1976 - chartered college and known as Cebu State College
1998 - gained it's university status and it changed it's name into Cebu Normal University (CNU)1902 - Cebu Normal School
